CICP's & Ultramarine is a deep, rich blue pigment that has been made by grinding lapis lazuli and was considered more precious than gold in medieval times. Named "beyond the sea," this lightfast pigment is now mostly made synthetically (French ultramarine) for use in paints, coatings, plastics, and laundry products.
